Sarah Clark
Board Chair
Sarah Clark is a highly skilled facilitator and organizational development consultant, who supports the development of effective networks, organizations and leaders. She serves as a Vice President at the Institute for Conservation Leadership and has extensive experience heading national and global leadership development initiatives with Amnesty International and Habitat for Humanity International. She is experienced serving on and working with non-profit boards of directors. She has an MS in Organization Development from American University and a BA in Sociology from Miami University.
Rev. Meg Riley
Board Member
Rev. Meg Riley has worked for decades in interfaith and Unitarian Universalist networks, in the intersection between justice and religion. At the Unitarian Universalist Association, she was founding director of the Side with Love campaign, oversaw the response to Hurricane Katrina, created an internship program for young adults in Washington DC, and was Director of all US and international social justice programs. Following her retirement from professional ministry, she served as co-Moderator of the UUA for five years. She has served on the boards of the Interfaith Alliance, Equal Partners in Faith, Faith in Public Life, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Justice. She lives with her family in Minnesota.
Bama Athreya
Board Member
Bama Athreya is currently directing global advocacy for the International Center for Research on Women. She recently served as a Deputy Assistant Administrator at USAID where she led work on gender equality, child protection, and marginalized and underrepresented populations. She has been a longstanding leader on human rights and social justice and previously held positions with Laudes Foundation, the International Labor Rights Forum and Solidarity Center. She has had past Board roles with Green America, Worker Info Exchange and Fairtrade America. She holds a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology from the University of Michigan.
